  Mayor Karachi review city situation after rain.  
  Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar said municipal authorities were alert and all concerned officials had been in field to deal with any situation during expected rains in the city. The city situation remained satisfactory after rain on Tuesday and rain water drained out without creating trouble for citizens due to precautionary measures that had been taken in this connection. He said this on a visit of the Saddar, Clifton and other areas to review the situation after rain on Tuesday. Mayor Karachi said the district municipal administration was also in contact and all possible measures were taken to save the people from any inconvenience during rains. Mayor Karachi also contacted with the officers deputed at the KMC Rain Emergency Centre to enquire about the complaints loadged at this centre and the measures to rectify these complaints. He instructed the officers to remain alert and take all possible steps to solve the issues pertaining to accumulation of rain water. He also directed city wardens to ensure their presence on roads to help the traffic police to control traffic on roads during rains. He said citizens could lodge their complaints regarding rains at Rain Emergency Centre contact numbers which are 0332-2685090 and 0335-7553976 where concerned staff is available to take immediate action on their complaints.
